In the route described below I've added in some maps to help you trace the way we went. The first one you click on will open a new window with a map in. When you click on another one the map will be updated in the existing map window, so you will be able to swop between this page and the map easily.

Route - Up the hill from the stable turn right at the fork, along the road through the trees. At Bowers Heath Farm turn right along the road then left into the field and out the other end into the woods. Lots of bluebells - you might be able to see then in the pictures.

Out of the woods and turn right and follow the road down towards Batford. At the junction turn left towards Mackeyre End. A quick canter up the hill - might be the last time we get to use that field?

After Mackeyre End across the field and pick up the path up to Titmusses yard and then trot across the golf course to the road (B651) in at Gustard Wood. Left on the road then cross over to pick up the briddleway that runs through the woods past the Crossed keys.

Over the road and a little canter back over the grassy area to pose for photos by the Tin Pot Heading for home now, along the Slype and up towards Old Raisins farm.

Turn right there and follow the road then left back towards Bowers Heath. Through the woods then back down the hill to the stable.

Hope you enjoy the photo's!
