Where to put your Web Site?

There are a number of ways of hosting your Web site. Here are a few options.

If you already have an e-mail address then your current ISP may provide you with 'Web Space'. One option for hosting is to use that space.

The only problem with this is that it's URL won't be something like http://www.Your-Company.com but more likely something forgetable like http://homepages.yourISPname.net/account_name. Not really something your customers are going to remember!

It really depends what you want to use your Web Site for. If it's just a club or a family site don't worry - use the space from your ISP. If it's for a business you'll need some advice about registering your own domain name.

Don't panic yet though. At Web-Projects we can help you register your own domain name quite cheaply AND still use that space from your ISP to do the hosting. This is a lower cost solution. If you plan to develop the site over time or you need lots of e-mail addresses it might be best to go for a better hosting solution from day one.

In order that people can find your site using a search engine you need to get your site registered on a number of search engine databases. You could spend a fortune on doing this and still not end up at the top of the list so we can provide a number of different levels of submission services depending on how important this is to you. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that your site will be the top of the list.
